"This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)" is a song performed by Natalie Cole and composed by Chuck Jackson and Marvin Yancy. It was Natalie Cole's debut single in 1975 and one of her biggest hits, becoming a #1 R&B and #6 Pop smash in the U.S., reaching the U.K. Top 40, and winning Cole a Grammy Award for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, a category that had previously been dominated by Aretha Franklin.
